Job Description


• Participate in online or onsite meetings with Japanese clients and the development team in Vietnam.


• Translate and interpret technical documents, project requirements, and reports between Japanese and Vietnamese (or English).


• Support the Project Manager and engineers to ensure smooth and accurate communication throughout the development process.


• Follow up on project progress, summarize meeting notes, and prepare bilingual documentation.


• Provide cultural and communication support to help the team align with Japanese business manners and workflow.

Requirements


• Has lived or worked in Japan for at least 1 year.


• Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or higher, with fluent business communication skills.


• Background or working experience in the IT industry (e.g. software development, QA, UI/UX, or related fields).


• Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.


• Strong communication and coordination skills; able to convey technical ideas clearly and accurately.


• Responsible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a Japanese-style professional environment.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience working in a Japanese IT company or offshore development projects.


• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum process.


• Ability to read and understand technical specifications (API, database design, etc.).


• Willingness to grow into a Project Coordinator or BrSE role in the future.
