Sr. Data Scientist/ML Engineering

We're seeking talented individuals to become cornerstones in building a high-performing digital Bank. You'll proactively research and implement the latest advancements in AI and data science, continuously developing and training models to achieve optimal results, especially the 
Financial Services Recommendation
 and 
Credit Scoring
 models.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute complex data science projects:

• Identify and prioritize data-driven business problems across various areas like customer acquisition, engagement, risk management, and product development.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into actionable data science problems.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems and generate actionable insights.
• Ensure model interpretability to facilitate communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate model performance, iteratively improve models, and address potential biases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

• Partner with product managers, engineers, and business analysts to bridge the gap between data science and business needs.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Translate data-driven insights into actionable recommendations and collaborate on implementing them.

Contribute to the growth of the data science team:

• Mentor junior data scientists and share your expertise.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and propose innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven your outstanding profile through your education background or achievements throughout the high-scale applications/projects.
• 3+ years of experience in a data science role with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python and R, with experience in libraries like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.

Business & Product Acumen:

• Strong understanding of financial services and the digital banking landscape.
• Ability to translate business problems into data science initiatives and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
• Possess a data-driven mindset and a passion for applying data science to solve real-world business problems.

Project Management Skills:

• Experience in managing complex data science projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
