Vietnam Silicon is looking for a
Backend Team Leader
to lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems and services. You will manage a team of backend developers, provide technical guidance, and ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for designing architecture and solutions for Backend services.
  • Take responsibility in building and maintaining Backend services and own them.
  • Create maintainable, reusable, and reliable services.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, scalability, and availability of applications.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on code written by team members to ensure quality and consistency. Facilitate and mentor the team.
  • Define standards and patterns for the teams and govern them to follow.
  • Manage and motivate one or more backend teams.
  • Train, and coach the team in team working and personal development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Other tasks assigned by the Company or Line Manager

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent.
  • Has experience in leading team
  • Extensive 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
  • Have experience in one or more of API designs/standards: RESTFul APIs, or SOAP, or GraphQL, or gRPC, or RPC.
  • Have good knowledge about computer science, data structures, algorithms, cyber security, system design, and architecture design.
  • Familiarity with database technologies, either relational DB or non-relational DB.
  • Have proficiency in SDLC and processes (such as: Agile/Scrum)
  • Have proficiency with DevOps automation tools, Git, CI/CD.
  • Have proficiency with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
  • Have good knowledge of Operating Systems and Networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Can select solutions among multiple approaches for a problem. Can suggest solutions to optimize current services.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
