Senior UX Research

As a Senior UX Researcher & Designer, you'll work cross-functionally with Product Owners (BA), UX Leaders, Product Designers, and Engineering teams. You'll take the lead in planning and executing user research, defining UX strategies, validating hypotheses, and crafting design solutions grounded in user behavior, with an emphasis on the unique challenges of Web3 products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead complex UX research projects (qualitative & quantitative) to uncover deep user insights, motivations, and behavior patterns.
• Develop UX strategies and frameworks aligning user needs, business objectives, and product roadmaps.
• Conduct extensive usability tests, competitive analysis, heuristic evaluations, and synthesize results into actionable recommendations.
• Define and iterate comprehensive Information Architecture, user flows, and interaction design strategies across multiple Web and App products.
• Create advanced wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, ensuring design quality and accessibility standards.
• Facilitate alignment with Product Managers, UX Leaders, Designers, and Developers to ensure user-centered outcomes and smooth product delivery.
• Continuously refine internal UX methodologies, documentation standards, and research best practices.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior and mid-level designers and researchers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Foundational UX Knowledge & Skills (5-7 years):

• Proven expertise applying Design Thinking, Human-Centered Design, and Lean UX methodologies.
• Qualitative methods: In-depth user interviews, contextual inquiries, diary studies, focus groups.
• Quantitative methods: A/B testing, surveys, analytics analysis, usability metrics (e.g., SUS, NPS, task success rates).
• Advanced expertise in Information Architecture (IA), Navigation Design, and User Flow mapping.
• Strong proficiency in Interaction Design, creating detailed wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Deep experience conducting Heuristic Evaluations and UX Audits to identify usability issues and improvements.
• Expertise designing for Accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
• Proven ability to define, measure, and optimize UX-related KPIs and user experience metrics.
• Strong analytical capability to synthesize complex user research findings into clear, actionable product insights.
• Experience effectively communicating research findings and design rationale to executive stakeholders.

UI Design Knowledge (following standard design principles):

• Experience with building, managing, or contributing significantly to Design Systems and UI Pattern Libraries.
• Good application of Visual Hierarchy & Contrast.
• Knowledge of designing with Accessibility principles (readability, usability for diverse user groups).

Tool proficiency:

• Design & Prototyping: Figma, FigJam.
• Research Tools: Maze, Lookback, Hotjar, Google Forms.
• Collaboration: Jira, Confluence, Notion
• Research with AI tools: ChatGPT, Useberry, Attention Insight, Uizar.
• Basic familiarity with tools: Firebase, Mixpanel.

Softskill:

• Intermediate or better reading/writing English skills.
• Clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong ownership and independence in structuring and running UX research activities.
• Proven mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Open mindset for feedback and continuous improvement.
• Empathy for both novice and expert blockchain users.

Nice to have:

• Experience launching or significantly contributing to UX on Web3 platforms (e.g., DeFi protocols, NFT Marketplaces, DApps, DAOs)
