The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of Design & Construction projects, from the conceptualization stage through to final handover. This position plays a key role in controlling costs, quality and schedule, while ensuring that all project components are executed efficiently, safely and in alignment with the company's business strategy.

Role Description

  • Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously (3–4 projects), ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and high-quality outcomes.
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all project phases - from concept design to construction and handover.
  • Review architectural drawings and designs; manage a team of architects in preparing shop drawings and technical details.
  • Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure all deliverables are achieved within agreed parameters.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to ensure design intent and quality standards are achieved.
  • Effectively manage Site Managers/ Supervisors to ensure that construction, installation and/or commissioning remains on time and within budget specifications.
  • Oversee procurement planning to ensure timely supply of materials and labor, avoiding excessive on-site storage.
  • Ensure that the construction site and direct subcontractors are supervised to ensure standards of building performance, quality, costs, schedules and safety are maintained.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with authorities, consultants, contractors, and project neighbors.
  • Identify and address issues, risks, or substandard workmanship promptly to maintain project integrity.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Civil Engineering is preferable. Project Management Certificate is is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position in a foreign invested company with relevant working scopes.
  • Solid construction industry knowledge. Profound of construction project management of F&B and Retails projects.
  • Planning and organizational skills to deliver successful projects on time.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills for developing and maintaining client and subcontractor relationships.
  • Team management, task assignment, and progress supervision.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good at English communication skills.
