BE Lead

1/ JOB DESCRIPTION

• Take ownership of backend system architecture: design, review, and optimize scalable, reliable, and high performance backend solutions.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of efficient, reusable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints for web and mobile applications.

• Oversee server-side logic, including data processing, business workflows, and integration with third-party services.

• Architect and manage SQL/NoSQL database schemas, optimize queries, and ensure smooth data migrations.

• Ensure code quality by writing clean, scalable, maintainable code and proactively resolving performance issues.

• Implement strong security measures, data protection protocols, and system reliability standards.

• Lead deployment strategies and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, product, and other teams to align technical solutions with product goals.

• Conduct architectural reviews, lead technical discussions, and support decision-making for backend systems.

• Mentor, support, and coordinate backend team members; participate in task planning and promote best engineering practices.

• Participate actively in code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and uphold high-quality engineering standards.

• Contribute to the development of the long-term technical roadmap for the backend platform.

2/ REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.

• Experience leading or coordinating a technical team in backend development.

• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: Go (Golang), Rust

• Strong experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including schema design and query optimization.

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).

• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Example for AWS: Experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS.

• Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).

• Proven experience in designing and building APIs (REST, GraphQL).

• Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) is a plus.

• Mastery of Git and common Git workflows (e.g., GitFlow).

• Strong commitment to quality, with experience in writing unit tests and integration tests.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to architect solutions for complex technical challenges.

• A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for the code you write and the systems you manage.

• Clear and effective communication skills in English, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• A collaborative spirit and a desire to work with a diverse and talented team.
