ROLE SUMMARY:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The purpose of the Primary teacher is to promote high quality learning in a challenging yet supportive environment which allows all students to flourish. The role of the classroom teacher is to foster a love of learning and encourage a sense of inquiry among our students and deliver and evaluate quality learning programs. The classroom teacher will implement the vision of the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP) and inspire students to fulfill their potential. Providing opportunities for high quality learning is at the heart of the role.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor of Education in Primary and Teaching certification in Primary
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrable experience teaching Primary
  • Valid registration or licensing in Primary teaching, with eligibility to work legally in Vietnam.
  • An understanding of, and experience in the International Baccalaureate Primary Program would be an advantage, but is not required
  • Applicants must have a demonstrable passion for working with children; to develop their learning skills and social confidence and be willing to work as part of a positive and supportive team to achieve the school's aims and goals
