ROLE SUMMARY:

Australian International School (AIS) Saigon, a renowned international, co-educational K-13 school in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has been educating young men and women for more than 16 years. Known for our innovation, collaboration and engagement, and our care for each student, we seek a dynamic, visionary, and committed Support Teacher to be part of our Kindergarten School team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support high-quality learning in a nurturing and challenging environment.
  • Collaborate with the Principal, Deputy Principal, PYP Coordinator, and teaching staff.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging, inquiry-based programs.
  • Teach small groups or classes as needed.
  • Support individual students to enhance learning and development.
  • Complete support teaching and administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Perform other school duties as directed by the Principal or classroom teacher.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification is preferred.
  • Relevant experience working in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of and experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB PYP) is an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for working with children, fostering their learning, social development, and confidence.
  • Willingness to collaborate as part of a positive, supportive team to contribute to the school's mission and goals
