Key Responsibilities

  1. Material planning and procurement of the assigned assortment (incl. follow-up of timely and sufficient supply, with supplier correspondence).

  2. Developing strong strategic supplier relationships and promoting strategic supplier development.

  3. Ensuring commodity prices used in purchase orders are correct supporting cost reduction programs and in compliance to Purchasing policy & procedures.

  4. Analyzing inventory of each commodity and establishing actions plans to prevent and reduce excess and aging inventory.

  5. Preparing and submitting weekly and/or monthly key performance index report.

  6. Performing other tasks/functions assigned by superiors.

Requirements

1. Educational background:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Economics related major).

2. Experiences:

  • Buyer of MRO / Equipment: 0~ 3 years of experience.
  • Buyer of Direct materials: from 3 to 7 years' experience of direct material procurement. Familiar with BOM & MRP.
  • Experience in electronic manufacturing companies is preferred.

3. Skills:

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Team collaboration, effective communication & presentations skills.
  • Proficiency with data integrity, MS office and ERP system (SAP).

4. Others:

  • Ability to work cross culture and cross country.
