The Role: Motion Graphics & Video Editor (Green Screen Reels)

We're looking for a highly creative and hands-on Motion Graphics Designer who loves bringing ideas to life through dynamic short-form videos and reels.

You'll work with our English learning content, shooting and editing green screen footage, adding creative motion graphics, and transforming simple lessons into scroll-stopping, social-media-worthy videos.

What You'll Do

  • Work with green screen (keying) footage — shoot, light, and key talent cleanly and professionally
  • Edit, assemble, and color-correct raw footage for short, punchy, high-retention videos
  • Follow scripts and storyboards — but also bring your own ideas to make lessons more dynamic and emotionally engaging
  • Add captions, transitions, lower thirds, and visual effects that enhance understanding and grab attention within seconds
  • Integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to create polished final videos
  • Collaborate with creative, content, and product teams to ensure videos are aligned with brand tone and user experience goals
  • Continuously experiment with new editing styles, effects, and social video trends to keep FluentJoy content fresh and viral-ready

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, ideally with short-form or educational content
  • Strong green screen (keying) experience — both shooting and post-production
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other professional editing tools
  • A creative eye for storytelling and pacing — you understand how to hook attention in the first 2 seconds
  • Experience creating reels, TikToks, or short-form social videos that perform well
  • Great communication skills and attention to detail
  • A proactive, ownership-driven attitude — you thrive in fast-moving startup environments
  • A portfolio is required — please include samples that showcase green screen editing, motion graphics, and short-form storytelling.
