About the role 

• Position: Senior QA Engineer (Full-stack) 
• Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Onsite) 
• Department: Engineering 
• Report to: QA Manager 

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer (Full-stack) - a hands-on problem solver who owns quality end-to-end. This is not a "Manual vs Automation" position. It's about being a Full-Stack QA Engineer who can test, automate, troubleshoot, design test strategies and contribute to our product quality at every layer. 

You will be a role model in our QA Team – Driving innovation, balancing speed and quality, and helping shape how we build, test and deliver software at LeapXpert. 

What You'll Do 

• Own quality across the full stack: Backend APIs, databases, UI, Mobile applications, integrations and infrastructures. 
• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests: UI, API, Integration and Performance as part of CI/CD.  
• Perform exploratory and scenario-based testing when automation doesn't provide full coverage. 
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, DevOps and SRE to ensure the quality from design to release. 
• Be proactive in identifying gaps – not waiting for someone to tell you what's broken or missing. 
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices, frameworks, and processes. 
• Mentor and influence other QA Engineers – Be a role model for adaptability, ownership, and innovation. 
• Contribute to a culture of transparency, accountability, and excellence. 

What we're looking for

• You don't limit yourself to specific "Manual testing" or "Automation testing". You test with purpose, code, and curiosity.

Required Skills and Qualifications 

• 5+ years of work experience in Software Quality Engineering, with at least 3 years of Automation Test Development. 
• Strong experience with testing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and cloud-based systems. 
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium or similar. 
• Solid programming/scripting skill, we prefer JavaScript, Python or TypeScript. 
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Gitlab CI etc.). 
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps practices are a plus. 
• Strong understanding of Software QA Methodologies, tools, and processes. 
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
