Role Overview

Lead and take full ownership of the success of outsourced software development projects for both domestic and international clients. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards in accordance with CMMI practices. Strive to exceed client expectations and contribute to building ExcelTech's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities


Project Lifecycle Management

  • Collaborate with clients and the business team to define project scope, requirements, and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimation.
  • Proactively monitor progress, manage risks, and resolve issues throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee final delivery and acceptance of the product by the client.


Client & Communication Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering trust and professionalism with clients.
  • Provide regular progress updates, present results, and manage client expectations effectively.
  • Ensure transparent and seamless communication between clients and the development team.


Team & Resource Management

  • Lead, inspire, and motivate cross-functional teams (developers, QAs, designers, etc.).
  • Assign tasks, support the team in overcoming technical and procedural challenges.
  • Organize and facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).


Process & Quality Management

  • Apply and optimize software development processes aligned with international standards (CMMI, ISO) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure the final product meets or exceeds client requirements and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in software project management, including at least 2 years in outsourcing for international clients (especially North America, Europe, Australia).
  • Proficient in modern project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum, and tools such as Jira, ClickUp, etc.
  • Professional English communication skills for daily interaction with global clients and partners.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge or certification in CMMI is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in AgriTech, HealthTech, or BeautyTech projects is a valuable plus.
