Responsibilities

Risk Strategy and Framework

  • Utilize your proven experience in finance risk management to develop and communicate a comprehensive risk management strategy and framework for Group (Philippines & Vietnam team), aligned with the company's risk appetite and overall business objectives.
  • Establish policies, guidelines, and risk assessment methodologies, drawing on your expertise to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks across various business functions.

Daily Monitoring to Reach Target NPL

  • That focus on day-to-day activities and activities that align with achieving the target non-performing loan (NPL) ratio.
  • Develop detailed risk reports to provide insights on NPL trends, potential challenges, and opportunities for improvement, enabling data-driven decision-making and effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of risk management protocols and foster a risk-aware culture that prioritizes achieving the target NPL ratios.

Compliance and Governance

  • Apply your extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards to ensure that risk management protocols comply with relevant regulations and governance practices.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and update risk management processes accordingly to maintain compliance.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, build, and develop the Risk Management team across Vietnam and the Philippines, ensuring an effective organizational structure, clear role distribution, and consistently high team performance.
  • Provide training, coaching, and inspiration to team members to strengthen technical expertise and foster a proactive approach to risk control.
  • Set KPIs, monitor individual and team performance, and conduct regular evaluations, while cultivating a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across the function.

Qualifications

  • Proven senior management experience in
    Credit Risk / Risk Management
    , preferably within
    Fintech, Banking, or SME Lending
    .
  • Deep understanding of
    credit policies, underwriting frameworks, risk scoring, and portfolio management
    .
  • Data-driven mindset
    with the ability to design and optimize risk strategies aligned with growth objectives.
  • Strong
    leadership, critical thinking, and cross-functional collaboration
    skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills
    , with the ability to work directly with regional teams and the Executive Committee (EXCO).
