MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (COSTING & PRODUCT COST)

1. JOB PURPOSE

Ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and control of production costs and product costing for wooden products, supporting management decisions and optimizing factory performance.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cost Analysis & Product Costing

  • Collect, classify, and summarize production costs by workshop, process, and product type.
  • Calculate actual product costs and compare them with standard/planned costs.
  • Analyze cost variances (materials, labor, depreciation, overhead).
  • Propose cost control measures to improve productivity and reduce waste.

Cost Control & Reporting

  • Monitor material, labor, utilities, maintenance, and accessory costs by cost center.
  • Prepare periodic cost, product costing, material usage, and efficiency reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
  • Analyze cost trends and provide insights to management for pricing and production planning decisions.

Coordination & Management

  • Work closely with Production Planning, Warehouse, and Engineering to reconcile data on inventory, material standards, and production results.
  • Participate in developing and updating BOMs, cost standards, and labor standards.
  • Support the development of cost-related
    BSC/KPI systems
    for each production unit.

System Improvement

  • Recommend and implement process improvements toward digitalization (Power BI, advanced Excel).
  • Ensure management accounting data is accurate and consistent with financial accounting records.

3. REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or Industrial Management
    .
  • Minimum
    3 years of experience
    in costing/management accounting in a manufacturing company (preferably
    wood, furniture, mechanical, or plastic industries
    ).
  • Proficient in
    Excel
    ; knowledge of
    Power BI
    is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of product costing methods, cost allocation, and standard cost control.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, honest, systematic, and improvement-driven mindset.
