What you'll do:
As Senior Manager Planning and Delivery based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will play an instrumental role in orchestrating end-to-end supply chain activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you guiding multidisciplinary teams across planning, logistics, and customer service functions-ensuring every process runs smoothly from raw material sourcing through to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with plant management as well as commercial leaders to align operational execution with broader business objectives. By developing effective strategies for warehouse operations and transport logistics while keeping a keen eye on budgetary controls, you will help optimise cost efficiencies without compromising service quality. Your ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships-both internally across departments like IT or procurement and externally with vendors or logistics partners-will be crucial in delivering outstanding results. Additionally, you will champion continuous improvement projects that not only streamline current systems but also prepare the organisation for future growth. Success in this role means consistently achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery while empowering your team members to reach their full potential.

- Develop robust strategies for warehouse management and transportation activities, ensuring cost-effective solutions that support business targets.
- Drive supply chain collaboration initiatives with customers to enhance efficiency, boost sales performance, and reduce overall service costs.
- Manage budgets related to warehousing, transportation, copacking costs, and inventory value while maintaining strict control over overheads for the plan and deliver function.
- Lead talent development efforts by creating individual development plans, building team capabilities, supporting succession planning, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders such as IT, procurement, production teams, as well as external partners including 3PL providers and shipping companies.
- Champion the implementation of S&OP/IBP processes locally by ensuring governance structures are in place and providing valuable input into regional planning cycles.
- Support market development initiatives by optimising plant efficiency through improved scheduling practices and facilitating smooth new product launches or artwork changes.
- Promote continuous improvement by co-developing best practices within the plant environment and leading change initiatives that drive operational excellence.
What you bring:
To thrive as Senior Manager Planning and Delivery, you will bring extensive experience from senior roles within fast-moving consumer goods environments where you have overseen complex supply chain functions. Your background should include hands-on involvement with sophisticated planning tools as well as direct responsibility for significant operational budgets. You possess exceptional people skills that allow you to build trust-based relationships across all levels of an organisation-from frontline staff through to executive leadership-and externally with key suppliers or logistics providers. Your approach is grounded in empathy; you understand how collaborative teamwork drives better outcomes than working alone. You are adept at coaching others towards success by identifying strengths within your team members while supporting their ongoing professional development. Your analytical mindset allows you to make sense of intricate data sets so that informed decisions can be made quickly even when faced with ambiguity or competing priorities. Above all else, your passion lies in creating environments where everyone feels supported-where knowledge sharing is encouraged-and where every achievement contributes meaningfully towards shared organisational goals.
- A bachelor's degree with a focus on supply chain management or a related discipline is essential for this position.
- At least 10 years' experience in supply chain or plan-and-deliver roles within a global FMCG environment is required to excel in this role.
- Proven expertise in using advanced planning and logistics systems is necessary for managing complex operations efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large budgets covering warehousing, transportation costs, copacking expenses, and inventory valuation is highly valued.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are needed for effective stakeholder management across internal teams (IT, procurement) as well as external partners (3PLs).
- Strong communication abilities are vital for building consensus among diverse groups including plant management teams and commercial leaders.
- Experience developing individual development plans for team members along with implementing succession planning strategies is important for nurturing talent pipelines.
- A track record of leading successful S&OP/IBP processes at both local and regional levels will set you apart from other candidates.
