We're looking for a
Senior Legal Specialist

to prepare various contracts and related documents, research legal regulations and provide legal advice and other legal support relating to daily operations as per business requests. You will be also responsible for supporting the Legal Manager in carrying out all legal transactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and review commercial contracts, copyright/trademark/license contracts and other contracts, memorandum and legal documents relating to daily business activities
  • Select and analyze international and national legal materials/ regulations for preparation of reports or legal advice as per requested from business units, in alignment with general instructions given by the company or business unit.
  • Review project proposals, draft agreements and other legal related documents, and provide appropriate comments thereto from legal perspective
  • Prepare and follow up on filings, maintain, and protect the intellectual property and other legal commercial rights and support business team to deal with any issues related thereto.
  • Prepare background materials, reports, papers, and other documents as requested by the competent authorities
  • Set up internal procedures for review, draft of contracts and other legal documents, update new regulations that may affect to the business
  • Cooperate and control legal tasks assigned to outsourced law firm
  • Work with local authorities for matters relating to company's business operations when necessary and update status
  • Independently manage and handle all legal matter of the departments/teams in-charge.
  • Handle, lead a legal project with supervision from Legal Head/Legal Manager
  • Assist Legal Manager/ Legal Head in providing the plan and strategy for development of team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field. Advanced certifications or specialized training in legal studies are desirable.
  • Substantial experience
    at least 7 years

working as a senior Legal Executive/ Senior Specialist, Legal Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, Associate, with a focus on progressively complex legal matters.
- Strong knowledge of legal principles, procedures, and practices across various practice areas.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting in-depth legal research, analysis, and case management.
- Proficient in conducting legal research using online databases and other resources.
- Proficient in legal processes, and legal documentation requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using legal software, document management systems, and MS Office Suite
- Can communicate with various stakeholders both within and outside the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail with full ownership of initiatives and tasks.
- Exercise clear and appropriate judgement in a range of situations.
- Excellent team player with a keen ability to apply business and risk judgment on tight schedules.
- Law-firm experience and/or tech-savvy preferred.
