What's the role?

We're looking for a well-organized and resourceful Field Engineer to enhance our growth in the fast-growing Vietnam market.

This position in Vietnam is to capitalize on the market growth potential range of design firestop solution in the industrial construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sales in selected market segments and the appointment of right channel partners in Vietnam.

As a member of the engineering team, you will enthuse customers with your technical expertise, skill set and creative approach to application-oriented product innovations. Your responsibilities include providing technical support to specifiers, government agencies and the relevant stakeholders of the customer to promote the specification and use of Hilti products.

What does the role involve?

Manage communication on all technical matters with design engineers, Maintenance, Consultants, End Users, authorities by multiple channels including digital method or in person related about Hilti's products, solution.

Raise awareness for Hilti's engineering by conducting training and seminars for consultants and /or projects stakeholders to get their approval/influence in using Hilti's solution.

Assisting/ Partners to actively participate and contribute to Vietnam Sales Turnover and increase Growth.

Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

Provide knowledge in Quality System Procedures and produce calculations, proposal solutions, technical support (pre-sales) on a timely, for Hilti fixings/connections where product's engineering are applicable

Collect existing and potential project information and calculate the potential quantity through visiting sites, architect, designer, consultant stakeholders

Develop wide relations with owners, architects, designers, consultants and construction authorities

Travel within Vietnam required, when necessary.

Job Requirements

Preferable minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

At least 3-5 years proven working experience in Reinforced concrete structure/Steel structure design structure calculation, technical specifications, material proposal and approval.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computer skills, structural software (CAD, SAP, ETABs, STAAD…)

Well-organized, diligent, and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving

Well proven language skills in spoken and written English

Discipline and ability to work with minimum supervision

Well-developed sense of customer support and relationship maintenance combined with an outgoing and open personality.

Willing to travel locally, whenever necessary.
