Quality Control Engineer

About the RoleWe are looking for a QC Engineer to join the Lumin team at DSV. As a QC Engineer, you will be part of a talented and committed community, passionate about delivering a high-quality experience for our customers.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers to understand project requirements and user stories.Design, develop, and execute comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases (both manual and potentially automated) for new features and existing functionalities of web applications.Perform various types of testing, including:Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, UI/UX Testing.Compatibility Testing (across different browsers and devices).Security Testing (basic understanding and execution)API Testing: Design and execute test cases for APIs (REST/SOAP) using tools likePostman/SoapUI to ensure data integrity and business logic correctness.Identify, document, and track bugs/defects in a clear, concise, and detailed manner using bug tracking systems.Work closely with developers to reproduce, perform Root Cause Analysis, and confirm defect resolution.Actively participate in Agile meetings (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, and Review meetings).Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.Assist in setting up and maintaining Test Environments.Analyze test results, prepare reports, and provide testing progress Status Updates.Your skills and experience2–4 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance (QA), specifically focused on web-based applications.Solid and practical understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Proven experience in designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive Test Cases and Test Plans.Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.Practical experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) for testing REST endpoints.
