Responsibilities
ABOUT THE POSITION
Vehicles Art Lead plays a key role in guiding and supporting the team. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality vehicle assets by collaborating closely with artists, managers, and production teams across disciplines to meet client expectations.

  • Collaborate with the supervisor to contribute to accurate project estimations.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining guidelines and checklists in coordination with the supervisor.
  • Be flexible to carry out the additional tasks assigned by senior management based on business needs.
  • Mentor and support core team members (Junior and Senior Artists) throughout projects.
  • Plan, support training, and skill development for artists to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Assist Art Managers in reviewing client briefs and workflows to ensure clarity and feasibility.
  • Communicate clear and concise workflow guidelines for creating vehicle assets in line with client requirements.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to help the team achieve high-quality results.
  • Ensure all assets meet client standards for quality and timely delivery.
  • Stay updated on the latest industry techniques and best practices, applying them to improve team performance and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to resource allocation planning and assist with task tracking to ensure efficient project execution.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience creating 3D hard surface and organic assets for AAA games.
  • 1+ year of experience in a leadership role or as a trainer/mentor.
  • Familiarity with one or more commercial game engines (e.g., Unity3D or Unreal Engine) is a plus.
  • Strong ability to conduct research and gather references for asset creation.
  • Experienced in interpreting design briefs and reference material to translate ideas into high-quality assets.
  • Solid understanding of art production workflows, from concept to final asset delivery.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of organic surface topology and modeling techniques.
  • General awareness of manufacturing and fabrication techniques used in product development.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and create both hard-surface and organic forms in design.
  • Understanding stylized and realistic art styles and their application in asset creation.
  • Intermediate-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Advance knowledge of production workflow within a single discipline or a certain discipline (Vehicle, Hard Surface).
  • Proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level in at least one major DCC tool (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, etc.).
