Factory Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Factory Manager to lead operations at a chemical manufacturing facility in Vietnam. This role is ideal for a practical, execution-focused leader with experience in Japanese-invested manufacturing environments, ready to be directly involved in daily operations and long-term system building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the 
    overall operation of the plant
    , including production management, quality control, R&D project management, supply chain, safety management, and related functions.
  • Drive the establishment and continuous improvement of 
    plant systems and management frameworks
     to enhance overall management standards.
  • Optimize 
    plant operational efficiency
    , improve equipment utilization rates, and increase 
    output per employee
    .
  • Oversee the 
    implementation and execution of R&D projects
    .
  • Report directly to the 
    Chairman of the Board
    .

Requirements:

  • Proven experience and/or background working in Japanese companies or Japanese-invested enterprises; Japanese nationality for management candidates is preferred.
  • Solid working and technical experience in chemical enterprises (chemical industry or related manufacturing sectors), with at least 
    8 years of relevant managerial experience
     (this requirement may be relaxed for outstanding candidates). Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following industries: 
    pharmaceuticals / agrochemicals / paints, inks, adhesives / leather & footwear, textiles / daily-use consumer chemicals
    .
  • Candidates who can bring 
    their own cooperative projects in the fine chemicals field
     will be given strong priority.
  • Proficiency in 
    English
     is an advantage.
