ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Can-Clover is an initiative of the VinaCapital Foundation, dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children with cancer throughout Vietnam. The Can-Clover program focuses on four core pillars:

  • Supporting treatment costs

for underprivileged pediatric cancer patients.
- Providing psychosocial support

to children with cancer and their families during treatment.
- Building advocacy and capability enhancement

for healthcare professionals and oncologists specialized in pediatric cancer.
- Raising community awareness

about childhood cancer and

promoting

early detection.

We seek a dedicated and passionate Program Assistant to support our children's cancer programs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

:

The Program role is to support the day-to-day implementation of Can-Clover activities by coordinating with cross-functional teams, internal and external stakeholders. This position supports event coordination, logistics management, data collection, and beneficiary support, ensuring the smooth operation and reporting of all program activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Program Implementation and Coordination

  • Support the organization and delivery of program activities, including

psychosocial sessions, fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
- Handle logistics, procurement, and on-site coordination during psychosocial sessions, fundraising events and awareness campaigns.
- Support scheduling and coordination of multi-stakeholder meetings, including with donors, hospital partners, and volunteers.

2. Monitoring and Reporting

  • Support documentation, data collection, and inventory for the events/workshops.
  • Prepare activity summaries, photos, and social media posts for internal reports and donor communication.
  • Assist in monitoring and operational processes of the program.
  • Support monitoring and evaluation of program activities and beneficiary outcomes.

3. Beneficiary Management

  • Collect and record patient information for treatment support and psychosocial activities.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of beneficiaries.
  • Support

the preparation of beneficiary reports to donors.
- Ensure strict confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive patient and family data.
- Coordinate follow-ups with beneficiaries as needed, in collaboration with hospital staff and social workers.

4. Administrative and Logistical Support

  • Provide administrative support, filing, and expense tracking related to program activities.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, hospitals, and logistics providers as needed.

5. Other tasks are assigned by the Program Director:

Adapt to emerging program needs and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Program Director.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Sociology, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with volunteer experience on social projects or community-based programs.
  • Compassionate and empathetic with a genuine interest in helping children with cancer.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in Vietnamese and English
