Position Overview

We are looking for a Software / AI QC Lead to lead the quality assurance process for software and AI-based products. The QC Lead will be responsible for

building and managing the testing strategy, ensuring high product quality, and mentoring the QC team.

This role requires both hands-on testing capability and leadership in designing test approaches for complex AI and software systems.

Responsibilities

1. Quality Leadership

  • Define and implement overall test strategy, test plan, and QA processes for software and AI- related features.
  • Lead, mentor, and support the QC/QA team to ensure testing efficiency and consistency across projects.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and AI Engineers to understand requirements and quality expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and automation frameworks.

2. Testing & Validation

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web, API, and AI modules.
  • Validate AI/ML outputs including accuracy, data consistency, and business logic alignment.
  • Identify potential risks in AI model integration (e.g., incorrect predictions, bias, data errors).
  • Create and maintain test cases, test data, and test reports using modern tools (e.g., Azure Test Plan, Jira, TestRail).

3. Quality Metrics & Reporting

  • Track and report quality KPIs (defect density, test coverage, pass rate, etc.).
  • Ensure timely delivery of testing activities within sprint and release cycles.
  • Provide risk assessment and quality sign-off for releases.
Your skills and experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in software QA/QC, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience testing AI/ML or data-driven systems is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger) and automation frameworks (Selenium, PyTest, Playwright).
  • Good understanding of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and API integration testing.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills in English and Vietnamese.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI validation or ML model testing (accuracy, fairness, data validation).
  • Knowledge of Python, AI pipelines, or data annotation/testing tools.
  • Automation testing skills:
  • Define automation strategy; coordinate implementation with QA automation engineers.
  • Maintain test scripts for regression and continuous integration testing (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Postman, PyTest).
  • Integrate automated testing pipelines into CI/CD systems (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.
