Responsibilities:
As a
Risk Analyst
, you will leverage data to identify key risk indicators, assess potential risks within the underwriting process, and provide actionable insights to mitigate potential challenges. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Creating ad-hoc reports, monitoring key metrics, and conducting analyses to support risk-related decision-making.
- Conducting daily reviews of key risk indicators and identifying potential risk factors.
- Identifying fraudulent activities and recommending solutions to close gaps in processes.
- Collaborating on new product launches, policy updates, and process changes.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Risk Analyst, MIS Analyst, or Data Analyst in the financial sector.
- Proficiency in SQL and advanced Excel skills;
familiarity with other database management tools is highly valued. - Proven analytical skills demonstrated through previous projects or work experience.
- A self-starter with strong project management skills and a high sense of ownership.
- Highly motivated, a team player, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with constant changes.
- Fluency in English
