POSITION SUMMARY

The Experienced Solution Consultant is a high-impact professional acting as a key Transformation Partner responsible for leading the entire lifecycle of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) project. This role goes beyond tool implementation; it is focused on fundamentally transforming the client's Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, moving them from manual processes (often Excel-based) to utilizing modern EPM systems. The core objective is to optimize efficiency, significantly reduce manual workload, and enable the FP&A team to focus on high-value activities such as generating insights, performing scenario analysis, and providing optimal recommendations for decision making.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Phase: Presales & Analysis:

– Conduct in-depth presentations and solution introductions to C-level executives and management, emphasizing the FP&A Transformation value.

– Gather, document, and deeply analyze current Business Requirements and existing Financial Models of the client.

– Perform "Fit-Gap" analysis and propose a clear Transformation Roadmap from the current state to the optimized EPM process.

Phase: Design & Transformation

– Design and develop Best Practice Financial Models for specific industries, tailored to the unique business context in Vietnam.

– Advise on and design the optimal End-to-End process from Planning/Budgeting/Forecasting (Forecast to Execute) on the EPM system, ensuring a standardized and efficient data loading from source systems (ERP, HR, CRM, etc.).

– Architect the system to streamline data handling and minimize manual workload, enabling the FP&A team to focus on Analysis, Scenario Planning, and supporting Decision Making.

Phase:
 
Implementation & Development

– Directly configure, build, and deploy the EPM solution according to the approved design.

– Define the data loading workflow (ETL process) within the EPM system, ensuring data standardization and integrity from source data (e.g., .csv files) to the EPM models.

– Execute Testing, provide User Training, and offer effective Go-live Support and project handover.

Phase:
 
Post-Go-live & Growth

– Provide technical and functional support during the post-go-live phase (Hypercare Support).

– Proactively maintain expertise and develop standardized Industry Best Practice Templates on the EPM platform.

Other tasks:
 Perform other duties as assigned by management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge & Expertise

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Auditing.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of hands-on experience in essential Financial Modeling activities such as Budgeting and Forecasting, often associated with an FP&A position.
  • Strong Finance/Accounting Foundation:
  • Deep understanding of FP&A processes, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Reporting (including Indirect-Cashflows), and Consolidation.
  • Profound knowledge of advanced Financial Modellings and the ability to construct them accurately.
  • Solid background in Accounting principles.
  • Significant Advantage:
  • Prior working experience at a Big4 firm (KPMG, EY, PwC, Deloitte).
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA or CPA.
  • Dedicated experience in consulting, designing, and implementing EPM/CPM solutions (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, Jedox, Adaptive Planning, etc.).

Technical & Data Skills

  • Data Aptitude: Ability to read, understand data structures, and perform Data Modeling.
  • Technical Tool Proficiency: Proficiency or deep knowledge of:
  • Hands-on experience with OLAP cube technologies (e.g., ClickHouse).
  • SQL: Ability to write and understand basic to intermediate queries for source data analysis.
  • Data Preparation/Visualization Tools: Experience with PowerQuery, PowerBI, Tableau, or equivalent tools to support data analysis and integration efforts.
  • Language: Excellent command of English (both written and verbal) to effectively engage with international partners and professional documentation.

  • Transformation Mindset: Proven ability to consult, lead, and persuade clients through process changes (Change Management).
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly and logically articulate complex solutions to various stakeholder levels.
  • Project management & Business Analysis:
  • Experience in Business Analysis (BA): Strong capability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in Project Management: Ability to support/manage project tasks, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
