Senior Human Resources Manager VIETNAM

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Senior HR Manager you will be responsible for implementing & securing the HR Policies and Procedures for the Sourcing team in Vietnam. You will partner with key leaders to provide

support and consultation on strategic People priorities such as; staffing plans, compensation, training and development, and employee relations. You will effectively plan, design, develop and evaluate Human Resources related initiatives that support organizational strategic goals, while promoting a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with Company objectives. You strive to deliver modern & effective HR services to meet business needs and can prioritize and evaluate effectively in a rapidly changing environment.

Essential DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop, organize and facilitate Human Resources best practices and programs to meet the strategic business needs of Production/Sourcing Operations in assigned locations.
  2. Direct the development and implementation of organizational development programs such as succession planning and training programs based on qualitative assessment of the team and business needs
  3. Ensure a clear HR plan in line with key calendar events and manage the entire HR processes across the Employee Lifecycle
  4. Proactively ensure compliance with local regulation and ensure current and compliant with existing and new legislation/changes
  5. Provide guidance and upskilling to your local stakeholders and Leaders on legal implications of Human Resources issues related to recruitment, contracts, working practices, discipline, employee grievances and morale.
  6. Educate staff on policies and best practices across all aspects of people management.
  7. Assist in improving morale and increasing performance through implementation and management of company recognition programs and initiatives.
  8. Be responsible in setting and understanding the relevant HR metrics
  9. to take actions where needed
  10. Recognize compliance issues and advise on solutions/best practices to address issues.

  11. Review and evaluate termination, corrective action, and performance management processes, exercising care that reasons are well documented and are not arbitrary or discriminatory.

  12. Monitor and review compensation and benefits guidelines and exceptions.
  13. Liaise with Financial Controllers and Management Team to assist in effective and accurate processing and administration of payroll.
  14. Manage other HR-Retail related projects as assigned.

  • Maintains open communication channels with employees at all levels.

Practices good communication skills, having attention to detail and adhering to the code of business conduct and asset protection policies.

  • Multi-task in a high-energy fast paced work environment.
  • Maintains manager and employee confidence and protects reputations and corporate integrity by keeping information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:

  • Must have experience in working in an organization with a Production or Sourcing set-up.
  • Must have previous employee relations experience with working knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and other levels of personnel.
  • Manage and train managers on a variety of topics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create detailed and complex employee communication with minimal supervision.
  • Professional Human Resources qualification is an advantage.
  • Recent exposure to retail/ apparel/ footwear

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

English proficiency is required.
