MISSION PROFILE

We are looking for a Finance & Administration Manager – Hotels to help SODÅ manage and deliver hotel management services to our clients – including both independent hotels and hotel groups.

This role focuses on key financial functions that drive operational success: managing cash flow, overseeing budgets, and building financial systems suited for each property's stage – from development to preopening and daily operations.

At SODÅ, the Finance & Administration Manager plays a central role in ensuring financial control, compliance, risk management, and accountability across all managed hotels.

The position covers forecasting, budget reviews, auditing, contract management, and due diligence. It also supports our internal administrative processes, aiming to strengthen consistency and efficiency within the organization.

We're seeking someone who can ensure transparency, maintain financial discipline, and support decision-making across our hospitality projects.

GAME PLAN DETAILS

Financial Assessment & Administration

o Lead and execute financial planning across our hotels—every report, balance, and compliance alignment crafted for precision and efficiency.

o Manage feasibility studies, budgets, and cash flow to drive innovation and sustainable growth.

o Oversee payroll, benefits documentation, and audit processes for both financial and HR compliance, aligned with international standards.

o Serve as the trusted advisor for all financial matters, providing clients with clarity, accuracy, and confidence.

o Implement and maintain gold-standard policies for finances, taxation, and compliance—keeping pace with regulatory updates.

o Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning cycles, ensuring multi-property alignment and performance visibility.

Risk & Compliance

o Oversee documentation, contract review, and all compliance checks to ensure legal and operational integrity.

o Manage insurance, tax, and data protection requirements for finance and HR functions.

o Conduct risk assessments and periodic reviews to maintain a safe, compliant operating environment.

HR Administration & People Matters

o Administer compensation, benefits, and employment contracts within overall financial operations.

o Ensure HR frameworks align with Vietnam's legal standards through collaboration with partner experts.

o Conduct audits of payroll, timekeeping, personnel files, and leave management.

Support onboarding and offboarding while maintaining accurate, confidential HR records.

Finance & HR IT Systems

o Manage digital platforms supporting payroll, HR data, and reporting systems.

o Ensure data security, integrity, and workflow compliance across financial and HR systems.

o Streamline integration of specialized software to enhance transparency and analytics capability.

Stakeholder Relationship Management

o Build strong relationships with hotel owners, executive teams, and management groups.

o Act as a trusted financial and administrative liaison, ensuring open communication and alignment.

Mentoring & Team Development

o Mentor hotel finance teams and provide guidance on best practices.

o Support property-level finance leaders through collaboration and training to reinforce consistency and high performance.

Performance & Innovation

o Refine financial and administrative processes to boost productivity and focus operational teams on core value creation.

o Lead initiatives that streamline workflows, improve transparency, and enhance cost efficiency across properties.

YOUR ULTIMATE SUBSTANCE

o University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar.

o Experience as Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or Corporate/Cluster Finance Manager in international hotel management—demonstrated ability to lead multiproperty finance.

o Solid foundation in hotel finance; HR administration experience is a plus.

o Proactive collaborator with strong financial and administrative skills.

o Effective communicator in Vietnamese and English.

o Willing to travel for property visits and audits.
