Job Description

As an Assistance Principal Engineer, you will lead the implementation of SAP solutions, focusing on the seamless integration between various systems. Your expertise in SAP Fiori, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and ABAP development will enable you to deliver cost-effective, scalable, and efficient solutions that align with business objectives. You will engage with project teams and business users to document requirements, develop and enhance applications, and maintain the reliability and performance of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

UX Strategy & Implementation:

· Develop and execute the SAP Fiori UX strategy.

· Propose and implement effective user experience (UX) and technical solutions tailored to business needs.

Technical Development:

· Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5, SAP HANA, and OData services.

· Perform ABAP development, including reports, Adobe forms, Web Dynpro applications, user exits, BADIs, enhancement points, and IDOCs.

System Integration & Testing:

· Conduct impact analysis for change requests and enhancements.

· Create comprehensive technical designs and documentation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute system integration testing.

· Support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

Implementation & Support:

· Prepare for and support go-live activities, ensuring smooth deployment.

· Provide ongoing post-implementation support and maintenance for SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and ABAP applications.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime.

SAP BTP Utilization:

· Leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for application development, integration, and extending SAP solutions.

Workflow Development:

· Develop and support SAP Workflow solutions to automate and optimize business processes.

Required skills and experiences

Education
:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable institution.

Experience
:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in JAVA/ABAP development.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori development.

• Experience in SAP Business Technology Platform.

- Technical Skills:

- SAP Fiori:

• Proficient in SAP Fiori 2.0 extensions, customized Fiori applications, SAP HANA, and OData services.

• Experience working with languages such as SAPUI5, JavaScript, and HTML5.

• Familiarity with Fiori Gateway Services.

• Experience in Fiori Design patterns and expertise in UI Theme designer.

• Strong understanding of UI principles.

- ABAP Development:

• Expertise in ABAP programming, including reports, Adobe forms, Web Dynpro, user exits, BADIs, enhancement points, and IDOCs.

- SAP BTP:

• Strong experience with SAP Business Technology Platform for application development and system integration.

• Familiar with SAP Build Apps, Business Process Automation, SAP Work Zone, and Business Application Studio.

- SAP Modules:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA or ECC 6.0 modules such as HR, SD, MM, and FICO.

- Additional SAP Technologies:

• Familiarity with SAP PI, HANA modeling, HANA stored procedures, and HANA optimization.

- Workflow Development:

• Proven experience in developing and supporting SAP Workflow solutions.

- Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members.

• Initiative-driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred skills and experiences

• SAP certifications in Fiori, BTP, or ABAP development are highly desirable.

• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable SAP solutions.

• Experience in agile project environments.

• Strong understanding of business processes and how they integrate with SAP systems.
