Animation Designer

OVERVIEW OF POSITION

The Motion/ Animation Designer will be a full-time part of Marketing team, responsible for creating engaging world-class motion creatives that drives club's brand campaigns across innovative trends, leading entertainment industry with effective marketing materials that enhance the club's brand presence and support various marketing initiatives. This role involves working closely with Marcom team, collaborating with internal stakeholders, external agencies, Copywriters and cross-functional teams to bring trailers and brand content to life. The assets created will be deployed professionally across digital platforms, including visual materials, social media, ads, events, apps, web, and club's screen spaces, environments.

As a Motion Designer, your role will involve designing engaging motion/video products, create and execute high-performing motion graphics/ videos, animation, and compositing for club's visual design, launch films, branded content to ensure a cohesive storytelling and alignment with club brand's visual identity as well as campaign objectives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Create high-quality motion graphics, video templates and video content for different digital platforms, websites, social media, campaigns, events, and on-site club machines.
• Interpret creative briefs to produce engaging 2D and AI-driven motion designs for centralized projects, with a focus on innovative entertainment trend adaptations.
• Manage the rollout of video assets across formats and localizations for different scale campaigns, promotions ensuring timely delivery.
• Adapt and execute video content for different platforms and display, web, app etc.
• Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and external vendors to develop world-class video content.
• Apply best practices in motion design and AI video production, staying updated on new tools, trends, and industry innovations.
• Lead the creation and optimization of motion templates and style guides for different video production purpose.
• Support and mentor team members on motion graphics and video production processes.
• Enhance workflows and production processes for efficient delivery ensuring productive timing.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal teams and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Continuously monitor competitor content, crypto trends, and blockchain news to keep video content fresh and relevant.
• Design and produce high-quality digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and email templates.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with the club's brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
• Ensure consistency in design across all marketing materials and channels.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their design needs and deliver solutions that meet their objectives.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve design quality and efficiency.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the club's visual identity and brand guidelines.
• Provide design support for events, promotions, and special projects as needed.
• Prepare and present design concepts to the marketing team and other stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for printing and production of marketing materials.
• Conduct quality checks on all design outputs to ensure high standards are maintained.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Creative Design and Production

• Proven expertise in motion graphics, video paid ads production, and branded storytelling.
• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Animate), Cinema 4D, Final Cut Pro; AI motion design experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
• Excellent creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail in motion design.
• Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Experience managing external agencies and freelancers.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with task and project management tools such as Asana, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Design and produce high-quality marketing materials, create brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, and email templates.
• Develop and execute creative concepts, align with the club's brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders, understand design needs and deliver solutions that meet objectives.
• Prepare and present design concepts, gather feedback and gain approval from stakeholders.

Project Management

• Manage multiple design projects, ensure timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies, oversee printing and production of marketing materials.

Brand Management

• Maintain the club's visual identity and brand guidelines, ensure consistency in design across all materials and channels.
• Provide design support for events and promotions

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Bachelor's degree in Animation/ Motion Graphic, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 years' experience as a Motion Designer in a global company or creative agency, ideally with high-volume, fast-paced production.
• Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus
• Experience in producing animated series or feature films.
• Ability to create strong expressions and convey moods effectively.
• Proficient in creating poses and action movements
• Ability to shoot video references independently.
• Fully proficient with Animation software skills, preferably in a long-form animation series/feature film.
• A strong grasp of the basic animation fundamentals and a great work ethic.
• Enthusiastic attitude and good communication skills.
• Must have good creative vision and be detail-oriented.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other design software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
