About Role

The Sales Specification Specialist plans and executes business activities, working with sales teams to develop product strategies for target clients in design, architecture, and construction. The role involves maintaining strong customer relationships, providing product and technical support, and ensuring high client satisfaction. It also includes achieving sales targets, analyzing performance, and proposing new product development initiatives.


Responsibilities

1. Business Development

  • Approach, consult, and persuade target clients (design, architecture, and construction firms) to use the company's products and services.
  • Set product development goals, plan growth strategies, and propose promotions or discount programs to drive revenue growth.
  • Track business performance for target client groups, evaluate effectiveness, and recommend product or market development directions.
  • Promote the company's brand, products, and services across online and social media channels as a brand ambassador.
  • Manage customer data and prepare periodic reports on sales performance, client activity, and product line results.
  • Actively identify new customers through calls, online platforms, and professional networks.
  • Prepare and submit required business and market reports.

2. Market Research & Product Development

  • Research for NPD and plan product line development, monitor market trends, and define approaches for target clients.
  • Update on global and regional trends, evaluate competitors, and provide reports and proposals to the Head of Sales. Prepare and submit regular market and performance reports.
  • Support other Sales teams in product specification, project tendering, and market expansion to increase customer volume, product visibility, and market coverage.
  • Analyze historical data and consumption trends to forecast future sales by product line and code.

3. Customer & Dealer Service

  • Develop and update training materials and presentations on company products and industry trends, and support Sales team in customer/ dealer training.
  • Organize meetings with key clients to understand needs and propose business solutions to strengthen cooperation and drive sales growth.
  • Support in resolving client feedback, inquiries, and complaints to maintain satisfaction and trust, escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development or similar roles. Must have experience in B2B Sales.
  • Strong understanding of the building materials industry, with the ability to quickly learn and grasp product knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills and sharp problem-solving ability.
  • Understanding business performance metrics and analytical tools.
  • Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
