Lead React Native Engineer, based in Da Nang

Your key responsibilities:

• Develop, and maintain high-quality React Native applications using clean code.
• Diagnose and repair bugs and performance bottlenecks for native-like performance.
• Reach out to the open source community to encourage and assist in implementing mission-critical software fixes—React Native moves quickly and frequently breaks things.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security standards are met.
• Communicate with US clients for requirement clarification and technical discussions.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

General requirements:

• At least an upper- intermediate skill level of English.
• 4+ years of experience in mobile application development, preferably with team or project leadership responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to obtain deep knowledge of project technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers.

Technical requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience with React Native development
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React/React Native patterns
• Proven experience building and deploying production-grade mobile applications to both iOS and Android app stores
• Experience integrating and customizing video streaming solutions in React Native
• Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Context API, MobX, etc.)
• Experience with native module integration and bridging when required
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for React Native
• Experience with authentication flows and subscription management
• Proficiency with RESTful APIs and GraphQL
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment
• Understanding of app security best practices

Nice to have:

• Experience with video player customization, DRM, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Segment), and feature flagging systems (e.g., Launch Darkly).
• Knowledge of push notification services, A/B testing, and offline-first approaches.
• Familiarity with live streaming technologies, WebRTC, or prior work on media/streaming applications.
• Experience building shared codebases for both web and mobile platforms.
