**The Opportunity**:
We’re hiring a **Head of Engineering** to establish and lead our engineering hub in Da Nang. This role combines hands-on coding with strategic leadership, making it ideal for a senior engineer ready to shape a team from the ground up while still deeply involved in software development.

You’ll lead by example - designing systems, writing code, and mentoring engineers as we deliver high-quality digital solutions for regional and global clients.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team in Da Nang

- Remain actively involved in hands-on coding and system architecture

- Set technical direction and ensure engineering best practices across projects

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software

- Guide team growth through mentorship, hiring, and professional development

- Lead code reviews, uphold quality standards, and drive technical excellence

- Champion an engineering culture of accountability, ownership, and innovation

**What We're Looking For**:

- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership role

- Proven hands-on expertise in web development using **Ruby on Rails, JavaScript (Node/React), Go, Python, or PHP**

- Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, and software design patterns

- Comfortable shipping products in agile environments with CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure

- Experience mentoring engineers, leading code reviews, and driving team performance

- Experience working in consultancy or product-driven environments is a plus

- Experience scaling engineering teams from the ground up

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

- Contributions to open-source projects is a plus

- Knowledge of DevOps and infrastructure-as-code tools
