** (Objective/Purpose of Position)**:
The Mechanical Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. This role involves conducting preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting equipment upgrades and installations. The specialist collaborates with operations, engineering, and safety teams to maintain high standards of reliability and performance across all mechanical assets.

**Key RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform routine inspections, lubrication, and mechanical maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and mechanical codes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.

**Experience**:
3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems: hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, etc
