Lead the business development and sustainable growth of bancassurance distribution channel in aiming to contribute to the company’s strategic business direction, build close relationship with external potential partners and internal stakeholders to leverage the channels ’capabilities and optimize any business opportunities.

THE JOB:

- Drive strategy, planning and execution of new business initiatives, including differentiated products proposition, services and customer segmentation, to leverage on partnership distribution capabilities.
- Accountable for achieving defined target objectives in respect of sales and profit, cost & operational efficiency, market penetration and business growth in alignment with the company direction.
- Create middle office function to facilitate channel specific sales and business support, functional operations and services delivery capabilities.
- Develop new partnership relationships and work closely with external stakeholders including business partners, banks, brokersetc to achieve mutual benefits and profitable goals.
- Establish a close and effective working relationship with Group distribution and other functions at GO, local EXCO/SMT and direct reports, to foster an outstanding business culture and dynamic growth.
- Inspire and engage a team of talents and quality staff through career development and ensure an effective succession planning for key positions being in place.
- Other tasks as assigned

THE PERSON:

- University Degree, majored in Finance, Banking or Business Management
- Minimum 15 years of experience with MNC, preferably in banking and insurance industries with similar scope of work or financial related

- Proven track record in partnership management, sales management and people management - Proven ability to prospect, drive sales focus, results driven, relationship building, professional maturity
- Ability to formalise, lead and implement strategy
- High degree of professionalism and good business etiquette
- Resilience and high EQ.
- Ability to work in ambiguous context environment
