What you will do as a Chief Accountant

**Accounting & Reporting (40%)**:

- Assisting central finance team based out in India in Monthly book close as per VAS
- Monitoring of AP/Vendor payment process and vendor advances
- Management of VAT invoices to ensure expense deductibility; management of petty cash
- Defining Internal Control policies and procedures and ensuring a strong control environment
- Coordination with the bankers for various treasury related tasks.
- Review of Fixed Asset Register
- Ensuring Finance team and ED SEA are kept informed of changes to policy or regulation that may affect Sannam S4 Vietnam’s operations in Vietnam

**Audit & Compliances (30%)**:

- Supervision and coordination of Statutory Audit, transfer pricing with the auditing Firm
- Assisting central finance team in applicability of VAT / FCT on different transactions / invoices.
- Preparation of all returns such as VAT, FCT
- Deducting and depositing the statutory dues with appropriate authorities
- Calculation of advance tax payment (CIT), as required.

**Others (30%)**:

- Preparation of monthly payroll, monthly payment processing, generating the payslips and sending to employees.
- Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and PIT/social security contributions
- SHUI adjustment reports
- Facilities management (liaison with landlord and global facilities team to ensure office is functioning according to standard required by Executive Director SEA)
- Support central Finance Team to more deeply understand Vietnamese business environment and compliances
- Other tasks assigned by Global Finance Manager and/or Executive Director - SEA.

What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 5 years of experience in handling financial accounting: A/P, A/R, payroll, finalization of financial statements as per provisions of VAS.
- Having a certificate of training as a chief accountant.
- Knowledge of VAT, FCT and PIT
- Experience in payroll calculation, PIT declaration, SHUI registration and reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
- Ability to work independently, solving problem, critical thinking, demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.
- Honesty and integrity.
- A self-starter with a natural ability to multi-task.
