**Responsibilities**:
Kyber Network is recruiting a Blockchain Researcher to work in either the Hanoi or the HCMC office. This position is part of the Research team and reports directly to the Blockchain Research lead, in charge of researching blockchain technologies and its peripheral services. At Kyber Network, we are concentrating our efforts on researching and developing technology platforms for the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.
The main duties of Blockchain Researcher will be:
Co-operating with the foundation team to design and implement Layer-one blockchain or Layer-two systems that serve the needs of the Kyber Network.
Exploring the available blockchains to assess and compare the pros and cons of each chain and report on the possibility of bringing Kyber-Network’s products to those blockchains.
Understanding innovative techniques and the technologies from which blockchain is mainly built, such as consensus, EVM and storage, client’s architecture and infrastructure, distributed systems, Inter-Blockchain Communication as well as other external services.
Researching different blockchains’ scalability solutions and layer 2, as well as the trade-offs between scalability and decentralization of each chain.
Studying and transferring cryptography libraries & tools for the engineering team.
