Your role

Reports to Employment and Industry Relations Manager, Careers, Alumni and Industry Relations

Key Accountabilities- Develop and implement RMIT Vietnam graduate employment and Internship service- Manage the international internship program for RMIT Melbourne and other international Universities partners- Develop and maintain industry partnerships to create job & internship opportunities, management training and for graduates and postgraduates- Collaborate with the other teams to develop a strong understanding of the employers hiring needs- Collaborate with the Career Consultants to create and manage a high-quality database of students and graduates suitable for industry placement- Design and place advertisements for available positions using a wide range of media tools, including social media and other online platforms-
- Collaborate with Career Consultants to provide recruitment process training and advice, both one-on-one and for groups of students. Track each placement and record placement outcomes- Liaise with the Career Consultants, Employment Manager and Career Manager to ensure successful outcomes- Identify and deliver digital recruitment experiences by using RMIT platforms or other digital channels- Research and build portfolio of jobs/internships related to new courses- Manage Career hub, Canvas and new virtual recruitment platforms to reflect the post covid-19 changes within the recruitment environment.- Data base management and report regularly to the Senior Manager Careers and Employment Service on the progress and outcomes of all relevant activities- Highly developed communication skills including well-developed interpersonal, negotiation, networking and liaison skills with a proven record of working successfully with multiple stakeholders.

Key Selection Criteria- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.- At least two years of experience in a similar client facing, customer service administrative orientated position.- Experience in being involved the hiring process is essential.-
- Demonstrated communication and networking skills to support relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including: a diverse student population, employers, industry and professional networks, community organisations and RMIT staff.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to multi tasks and meet multiple deadlines.- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to reach identified goals.- Experience in website management and using social media and online platforms.- Knowledge of approaches to recruitment and industry engagement across the student experience.- Ability to provide exemplary customer service with a wide variety of individuals such as students, parents, industry partners, and academic staff.- Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, as per the RMIT Values

English Proficiency

English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent Linguaskill 160).
