**As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal part in designing, building, and maintaining our infrastructure on the AWS cloud platform. You will be responsible for automating deployments, ensuring high availability, and implementing best practices for security and scalability.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership & Team Development**: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Provide guidance on best practices in DevOps methodologies.
- **Infrastructure Design & Development**: Lead the design, development, and deployment of robust infrastructure solutions on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, VPC, and Lambda to meet business requirements.
- **Automation & Configuration Management**: Spearhead the automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation/Terraform/CDK to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- **Monitoring & Troubleshooting**: Proactively monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- **Optimization & Cost Management**:Identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction within the AWS environment, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
- **Collaboration & Leadership**: Collaborate with development and operations teams to facilitate smooth deployments and efficient workflows; mentor junior team members in DevOps practices.
- **Continuous Learning & Innovation**: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the DevOps and AWS cloud space; advocate for best practices and innovative solutions within the team.

**Key Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in managing cloud infrastructure.
- **AWS Expertise**:Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation. Experience using Docker and container orchestration, such as ECS/EKS is a plus
- **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)**:Proficient in using IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation/Terraform/CDK for infrastructure provisioning.
- **Scripting Skills**:Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python or Bash for automation and orchestration tasks.
- **CI/CD Proficiency**:Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipeline or configuration management tools (such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet..).
- **DevOps Principles**:Deep understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies with a focus on collaboration between development and operations teams. Experience in SDLC and Agile methodologies
- **Problem-Solving Skills**:Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying issues before they impact operations.
- **Communication & Collaboration**:Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment; experience mentoring junior staff is a plus.
