Being the first Apparel & Accessories Industrial Engineer in the Technical & Quality team in Vietnam, you will lead the bulk production IE project with On T1 suppliers and manage the risk assessment during development to ensure production feasibility.
Your Team:
We, the Technical & Quality team, are responsible for ensuring the best quality product and highest production efficiency for On. We have to try and meet the needs and demands of sportive consumers.
Your Mission:
- Manage the risk assessment during product development.
- Lead the production efficiency project with On manufacturing partners.
- Ensure the effective implementation of new technical processes and technology in bulk production.
- Evaluate the styling and processes of the existing and new product to ensure production feasibility and identify the improvement opportunities.
- Manage problem-solving for existing and new production-related to construction, styling and technical processes.
- Support quality team in manufacturing processes audit to evaluate the supplier capability and to ensure the right first time.
- Support development team in the costing analysis and negotiation.
- Generate the new technical idea and promote new technology to the development team based on end-usage and/or aligned with the company's direction of sustainability and innovation.
Your Story:
- You have a higher education within apparel development and manufacturing.
- 10+ year’s experience in apparel industrial engineering, preferably with 4-5 years in a manufacturing establishment.
- Strong experience with functional outerwear, performance apparel. Knowledgeable about the most modern garment technology would be a strong plus.
- Proficiency in English is a must to cooperate among the teams and with the international suppliers
- Willingness to travel within Vietnam and to supplier locations.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, a high sense of responsibility and the ability to manage and drive a project.
