**Project Overview**

The Tourism for Ethnic Minority Women (T4EMW) initiative under GREAT 2 leverages tourism as a catalyst to empower ethnic minority women (EMW) through income generation, skill development, and socio-economic advancement. By employing a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach, the program partners with government, private sector, and community stakeholders to implement innovative and sustainable tourism interventions.

**Role Overview**

We are seeking a results-driven professional who will serve as the **primary implementation lead** for investment-related activities under the T4EMW project. Working closely with the (international) Senior Investment Advisor, the Specialist will take charge of executing the investment plan — including conducting market and investor analysis, preparing reports and investment documentation, coordinating procedures with local authorities, and liaising with domestic stakeholders such as government agencies, private sector actors, and community partners.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct **investor mapping** across the capital spectrum, including risk capital and philanthropic funding.
- Build and maintain an **investment pipeline** of sustainable tourism projects (e.g., eco-lodges, agri-tourism, homestays).
- Engage with diverse stakeholders including private investors, government, NGOs, and development partners to **build partnerships and attract capital**.
- Provide **transaction structuring support** to ensure investments align with T4EMW’s financial and social goals.
- Prepare and contribute to **investment reports, presentations, and lessons learned** in collaboration with the Senior Investment Advisor.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Minimum 5 years of relevant experience** in investment attraction or business development, investment development.
- Solid understanding of different capital types**:philanthropic, concessional, and commercial funding**.
- Proven ability to **evaluate investment opportunities**, conduct basic financial modeling, and assess return/risk (e.g., IRR).
- Able to **work independently**, deliver results without supervision or onboarding training.
- Excellent **English and Vietnamese communication skills** - especially in stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- Familiarity with rural development or ethnic minority contexts in Viet Nam or Southeast Asia is an advantage.
