Import - Export Officer

Reporting to: Import & Export Leader

**Location**: Nghi Son Economic Zone, Hai Yen Commune, Nghi Son District, Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam

**1. Responsibilities**:
Daily Operation of Department (Functional work)
- Implement the assigned tasks accurately and effectively
- Review on import & export customs formalities prepared by Customs Agent
- Communicate with Supplier/OEM to collect the materials
- Inform of tax amount to Accountant team, goods receipt to WH team
- Collect PO/contract/agreement information from PS buyer
- Ask for end-user’s support in technical matter
- Conduct vessel declarations in/out from company’s seaport
- Monitor the overseas and local logistics activities implemented by forwarder/logistics company
- Prepare the refund claim for overpaid-tax materials
- Collect the shipping docs of exports and crude oil from other teams in Commercial Department
- Expedite a delivery of imported materials which will be used for some special case: TA, emergency, and trouble case right after being released from Supplier/OEM
- Maintain the relationship with all customers, off-taker, suppliers, and OEM in order to complete the assigned routines and/or to five any extra support to them
- Suggest or propose any solutions to deal with any tax-related issue during post clearance audit or customs inspection
- Coordinate with Dept/Div including Accounting, Warehouse, PS, and end-user team to complete task-related processes i.e tax payment, good receipt, PO/contract/agreement information, technical support
- Control and keep document, record, dossiers and data in accuracy and consistency

**Procurement**:

- Prepare a Scope of Service for any bidding packages in regard to the logistics and customs declaration service

**Reporting**
- Prepare and complete the internal and external reports in terms of import & export, tax exemption, customs issues required by Authories

**Budgeting**:

- Monitor and analyze data using budgeting systems and protocols

Policy and procedure:

- Contribute to the development and the improvement of tasks-related procedures and manuals in case of any changes in internal cross-functional processes or any update in the customs regulations/law on import & export/free trade agreement
- Building capability of teams
- Develop personal capabilities using existing formal and informal training opportunitie
- Project management
- Support others by carrying out a range of project management activities

Other tasks assigned by Manager and other superiors

**2. Requirements**:

- University or college graduated
- At least 3 years' experience in Oil & Gas, Economics, Commercial, Foreign Trade, Logistics.
- Experience from working in a multinational and within a multi cultural environment is preferred
- Experienced in Formalities practice requires for logistics and customs clearance
- Liaison with local Authorities, e.g Nghi Son customs Sub-Dept, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in Thanh Hoa
- Experience in bidding process for logistics activities
- Have good report writing and presentation skills in both English and Vietnamese
- Strong decision-making abilities and innovative to generate the new indeas
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 20,000,000₫ - 30,000,000₫ per month
