Senior Qc Executive

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Primary Objectives**

The Senior Automation Tester position will participate in implementing and executing all aspects of Testing to ensure that quality standards of software products are met. The role requires hands-on QC expertise, ability to take initiative and evolve our QC processes. Besides, the role also requires ability to analyze the systems to determine what to test, the priority of those tests and the best way to test for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes.

**Main responsibilities**
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability.
- Respond to all requests from team members in a timely professional manner.
- Any assignments from Line Manager if needed

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**1. Education level**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ IT
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Non-Computer Sciences/Non-IT can be considered if earning excellent knowledge/ hands-on experience in software testing.

**2. Knowledge & Experience**
- **5+ years** of experience in software testing (both manual and automation), with at least **3 years** focused on automation for** Web and API testing**:

- Strong written English communication skills
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including test levels, test types, static testing, and dynamic testing
- Proven ability to manage and execute testing activities across different phases of the software development life cycle
- Hands-on experience with one or more **automation frameworks**/tools, such as:
**+ Selenium WebDriver (Java)**
**+ Cypress/ Playwright**
+ Other custom or open-source automation frameworks
- Capable of implementing and maintaining automated test scripts
- Experience in developing and enhancing automation frameworks for improved scalability and maintainability
- Able to work independently in cross-functional Agile teams
- Adaptable to dynamic and fast-changing environments
- Ability to collaborate with and coach developers to ensure high testability of features
- Experience in the **Banking or Financial Services** domain
- Knowledge of **Performance Testing** using tools like JMeter or k6
- Experience working with **Microservice-based architectures**, including:
+ RESTful APIs
+ Event/message-driven systems
+ Logging/monitoring tools
- Familiarity with **CI/CD tools and processes**, such as: Jenkins, Docker, AWS, Azure

**3. Technical skills**

We don’t expect you to know all of them, but experience with multiple is a strong advantage:
+ Programming: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript (or similar object-oriented languages)
+ Cloud & Collaboration: Azure, Confluence
+ API Testing Tools: Postman, SoapUI
+ Frameworks & Tools: REST API testing, TestNG, Selenium, Cypress, Appium
- Software Testing Certification is desired but not mandatory.
- Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found.
- Good command of written English is a big plus.

**4. Soft skills**
- Highly organized, detail oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize many tasks.
- Self-motivated, works well independently and with others.
- Able to perform effectively & independently and mentor others in software testing.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver within our high demand environment.
- Required to be team-player who is highly motivated, focused on customer satisfaction and solution/ results driven
