TRADE MARKETING POSITION

Direct Supervisor: Brand Advocacy Manager
Direct Report: 07 MR Leaders + 80PGs

A/ JOB SUMMARY
Manage and successfully operate the on-ground execution of the market research (MR) department. The MR Supervisor will have the responsibility of ensuring the entire promoter system from the successful implementation of the entire companies marketing activation and promotions to the recruitment, training, retention and motivation of MR employees across strategic international brands (SIB), Seagram’s Brands and RTD.

B/ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Managing and leading all MR Leaders across the South region:

- Build and retain a south region MR team with right people, right mindset and right skills
- Assist to build up full working process for whole MR team, from MR Leader to Senior MRs to each MR member
- Supervise MR Leaders following full working process from MR recruitment, training/on the job coaching, on field supervision and performance evaluation
- Understand where relevant MR sales target and allocate to each MR Leaders in location
- Motivate MR team to achieve (and over deliver) monthly target through bi-monthly/monthly meeting review with all MR Leaders
- Guide good coordination between ASM/Sales Supervisors and MR Leaders with solid rationale and effective communication regarding MR placement in outlets, trade program executions, weekly and monthly sales review to achieve MR target
- Ensure effective working plan and travel agenda from all MR Leaders

2. Ensure the effective implementation of the promotions, product demonstration and events
- Ensure the well organized and delivered direct demonstration of the products to the consumers
- Co-ordinate with the On-trade, Off-trade and Marketing teams to conduct and supervise the relevant promotions and events to achieve the Company’s targets and desired results.

3. Drive sales and build up brand equity
- Ensure the personal image (uniform, interaction) and decorum are maintained at the highest level to full represent the products and the company
- Take insight from trade and consumers and make recommendations of sales and marketing campaigns that could driver better results.

4. Reporting, data collection and customer relations:

- Conduct accurate reporting to the Brand Advocacy Manager about the revenues and depletion from the assigned zones, on weekly/ monthly/ quarterly/ annually basis.
- Ensure on-time and accurate reports from MR Leaders: monthly MR sales volume, working shifts and outlet performance report for MR’s monthly performance evaluation
- Ensure on-time and accurate report of market intelligence information (consumer data collection / competitors information / outlet information / promotions etc.) whenever required
- Supervise the collection of all feedback on the products, promotions, services
- Build up and maintain an intimate working relationship with the customers
- Collect required information on the potential customers
- Organize tasks and inspect the existing processes and develop the most effective internal procedures to sustain good customer services

5. Implement and develop the cost-saving initiatives
- Establish the initiatives and improve the work process to enhance the efficiency of the job.
- Manage and exploit the company’s asset in the most cost-saving manner.

6. Training and documenting MR profile
- Lead training sessions for MR with MR Leaders
- Prepare MR’s training materials
- Give instructions to MR Leaders and Senior MRs as need arise on field
- Be a problem solver and a role model for MR Leaders, Senior MRs MR, especially in urgent situations
- Ensure all MR profiles are documented timely and accurately following full working process
