Bridge Carbon is a London-based international carbon project developer and Cookstove Manufacturer committed to building a world-class carbon finance organization that defines the standards for quality, integrity, and transparency across the voluntary carbon markets. The Company utilizes best-in-class carbon methodologies, as well as third-party digital monitoring, reporting, and verification (dMRV) processes to ensure that every ton of carbon credits created can be traced directly to reductions achieved by the Company’s carbon removal activities.

**The Role**: Bridge Carbon is seeking a senior-level _consultant_**_ _**to serve as our primary liaison with the Government of Vietnam in relation to Article 6 of the Paris Agreement. The consultant will be instrumental in securing a Letter of Authorization (LoA) from Vietnam’s Designated National Authority, and in ensuring Bridge Carbon’s priorities are advanced within Vietnam’s carbon market framework.

**Responsibilities**
- Serve as primary liaison with the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE) and its Department of Climate Change (DCC), the designated national authority for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement within the Government of Vietnam.
- Secure and facilitate high-level meetings with senior government officials, ensuring Bridge Carbon’s proposals are positioned effectively within Vietnam’s climate and development priorities.
- Provide clear advice on government expectations, decision-making processes, and political dynamics, including informal considerations that may affect timelines and outcomes.
- Offer strategic insights on Vietnam’s evolving policy stance on Article 6 cooperation, carbon markets, and bilateral agreements.
- Monitor government policy developments, competing market proposals, and regional dynamics that may affect Bridge Carbon’s engagement.
- Represent Bridge Carbon with professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions with Thai government stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- Former senior role within the Government of Vietnam, or extensive experience working directly with MONRE and DCC.
- Strong network and established credibility with decision-makers in Vietnam’s climate and environment space.
- Proven ability to secure meetings, build consensus, and influence outcomes in complex government processes.
- Familiarity with UNFCCC Article 6 framework and general understanding of international carbon markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills suited to Vietnam’s political and cultural context.
- High integrity, discretion, and sound judgment in representing Bridge Carbon.
