**Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB**) is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of the world’s largest global wealth managers with USD1.4 trillion in assets. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an **SVP, Head of Data & Analytics, Vietnam WPB***

**Principal Accountabilities**

**Impact on the Business / Function**
- Responsible for developing a best practice Analytics, CRM and Data capability for WPB Vietnam. Setting the purpose and vision for the “data intelligence” specialisms locally.
- Industrial implementation of Data and Analytics outcomes to support customer management multi-channel and across: acquisition, cross sell, upsell, retention, win-back and remediation activity. Responsible from delivery of the incremental revenue targets from centrally generated leads using data, analytics and digital capabilities
- Customer engagement strategies that deliver a coherent multi-channel, multi-stage contact strategy to maximise customer relevance throughout their dialogue with HSBC in Vietnam. Lead organizationally and cross-functionally to avoid fragmented contact interventions across channels
- Responsible for the development, funding and implementation of an appropriate Communications Hub and Intelligence Hub (Analytics, Data and messaging) infrastructure that meets the needs of the customer and users.
- Work cross-functionally with the various BI/MI teams to standardise reporting and build a consistent and self-serve environment for colleagues across the organization
- Establishes Vietnam WPB Analytical and Data functional policies and standards, aligned to Group standards. Manages operational risk by ensuring adherence to Group Legal, Compliance, Regulatory, and Information Security standards.
- Accountable for ensuring that relevant global Analytic Specialisms and capabilities are leveraged to help deliver Vietnam growth aspirations

**Stakeholders**
- WPB Vietnam Heads of Business, Customer, Cards and Loans, Channels, Digital, COO and Risk
- All Functional Support businesses and Centres of Excellence, IT and Change Delivery ensuring support for strategy
- Customer Value Management and wider WPB country teams: Proposition, Product, Risk, Digital etc.
- Regional and Global Stakeholders in Data and Analytics leadership and wider Global WPB team

**Customers**
- Develops effective working relationships with key country stakeholders to maintain expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence future direction of WPB Data and Analytics
- Accountable for all centrally generated customer contact strategy deployments across all customer segments in WPB.

**Leadership & Teamwork**
- Accountable for analytical insights and customer contact strategy design to support “always on” customer engagement (campaign & triggers) implementation.
- Responsible for collaboration across WPB teams
- Provide the personal leadership required both within the CoE and locally across business area to build engagement from individuals and the overall organization
- Responsible for leading the team, setting the future vision for Analytics and Data practices, ensuring appropriate support is in place to execute (whether financial or business endorsement).

*** **Operational Effectiveness & Control**
- Ensure timely, effective and accurate execution of customer contact run-way. Establishing transparent and appropriate level of approval process throughout all customer Growth, Operational and Remediation
- Work with Operational Risk and other key functions to define the optimal balance between sales, cost and customer service
- Implement and adhere to FIM process and standards to support Data governance, protection, quality and ethical use throughout Analytics and Data processes
- Ensure optimal deployment of best practices from the Global/Regional CoE to minimize risk and bring standardisation to common process
Qualifications
- At least 10 years’ experience in Analytics and Data or related functions in the financial/banking or allied sectors
