Teaching and Program Manager Position

**Working conditions and benefits**: Canadian Curriculum School is seeking multiple dedicated and passionate foreign teachers to join us at our new campus in Saigon and nearby cities, Vietnam. The foreign teachers will teach Maths/Science/ICT/English Literature courses according to the Ontario and Vietnamese Secondary School Curriculum. Students who successfully complete the program will earn both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma and the Vietnamese High School Diploma. **Teacher Job description**: - Develop lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. - Teach up to 30 periods (45 minutes each) per week in Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry/Biology/ICT/English Literature for students from Grade 6 to Grade 12. - Assess and grade student homework, assignments, quizzes, and tests in a timely manner, providing feedback as necessary. - Hold office hours and review sessions to assist students. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance educational programs. - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress. - Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student performance. - Attend staff meetings and participate in school functions. - Assist the school during inspections by the Ministry of Education of Ontario or official Vietnamese education agencies. - Occasionally participate in marketing or teaching events during or outside of regular school hours. **Qualifications and requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Science/Computer Science/English Literature. - Preference for graduates from Canadian universities. - Canadian teaching certification is preferred. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching Mathematics/Science/ICT. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learners. **Working conditions and benefits**: - Attractive monthly salary ranging from 2,300 USD to 3,000 USD (Gross), paid in an equivalent amount in VND. - Income taxes, social benefits, and other deductions will be in accordance with Vietnamese labor laws. - Working hours: Monday to Friday during regular school hours, with weekends as needed. - Holidays: All official Vietnamese holidays and 3 weeks of paid vacation during the summer months. - Professional and dynamic working environment. - Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview ( health care, work permit). **Program Manager Job description**: - Manage and oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that students are actively engaged and submitting assignments, exit cards, learning logs, homework, and assessments as part of the "for learning," "as learning," and "of learning" processes as per the “Growing Success” framework. - Learn and stay updated on both MOET and OSSD curricula and their integration to ensure seamless delivery of both educational frameworks. - Work closely with teachers to ensure that all assessment data is collected and submitted in a timely manner and in compliance with curriculum standards. - Ensure that course schedules are followed and all necessary documentation is ready for ministry inspection. - Collaborate with academic staff to maintain alignment between the MOET and OSSD standards, ensuring students are meeting expected learning outcomes.Support the development of educational strategies and provide guidance to teachers on how to implement effective instructional practices. - Communicate with school management and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and student success. **Qualifications**: - Master’s Degree in Education, Science, Communication, or related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management position (within the educational sector is preferred). - Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. - Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online education platforms is preferred, but training will be provided. - Ability to analyze data and create reports for school inspections and performance tracking. - Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently. **Working Conditions and Benefits**: - Attractive monthly salary of 3,000 USD (Gross), paid in VND. - Income taxes, social benefits, and other deductions will comply with Vietnamese labor laws. - Regular working hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed. - Holidays: All official Vietnamese holidays and 3 weeks of paid vacation during summer. - A dynamic and professional working environment. - Additional benefits (health care, work permit, etc.) will be discussed during the interview. **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 12-24 months Pay: 60,000,000₫ - 78,000,000₫ per month **Education**: - Bachelor's (required) Application Deadline: 2025/04/30 Expected Start Date: 2025/07/14
