**Your Roles**:

- The Senior Medical Manager plays a crucial role in advancing Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany's mission by acting as a local expert in therapeutic areas (TAs) and leading medical affairs strategies.
- This position involves managing medical activities, ensuring scientific accuracy, and developing educational materials to support healthcare professionals (HCPs) and internal teams.
- The Senior Medical Manager also engages with key stakeholders, facilitating partnerships and communication to address unmet medical needs and enhance the company’s reputation within the medical community.
- By driving operational excellence and data generation, this role contributes to the organization’s commitment to innovative research and healthcare solutions.

**Who You Are**:

- Doctors' degree. OR Pharmacist
- Fluency in English (oral and written).
- Secondary/advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, Ph.D., DO, MD) required
- Senior MSL, Medical Advisor, or related MNC pharmaceutical experience preferred in CV and / or Thyroid area.
- Scientific and/or clinical training in the area of relevance to the position is strongly preferred
- Clinical or clinical research experience specific to therapeutic area preferred, advanced degree advantageous
- Substantial professional, clinical, or research experience in a scientific or related field required (minimum of 5 years)
- Knowledge of regulatory, commercial, and clinical issues affecting the industry
- Knowledge and experience of the methodology of clinical research and Good Clinical Practice required.
