Senior Data Analyst I, Zalopay

You will be responsible for exploring large datasets, telling compelling data stories, and influencing business decisions across product, operations, and strategy teams.

You will also have exposure to machine learning models and collaborate with data scientists to improve analytical outcomes.

This role is perfect for someone who can combine technical skills with business acumen to drive measurable impact in a fast-paced fintech environment.

**Responsibilities**:
**1. Data Exploration & Analysis**
- Analyze large-scale payment transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Conduct cohort analysis, funnel analysis, and segmentation for user behavior in payment scenarios.
- Explore and derive useful user behavior pattern for optimizing user journey.

**2. Data Management & Processing**
- Write efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from multiple data sources.
- Use Python and Apache Spark to process and analyze big data efficiently.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.

**3. Storytelling**
- Present complex data findings in a clear, concise, and impactful way for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and operations teams.

**4. Business & Product Insight**
- Partner with product owner and marketing teams to support data-driven decision-making.
- Identify business risks and opportunities through ongoing data monitoring.

**5. Collaboration with Data Science**
- Support and validate machine learning models for fraud detection, churn prediction, and payment optimization.
- Assist in feature engineering and exploratory data analysis for ML initiatives.

**Yêu cầu**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst, preferably in fintech or payment industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying large and complex datasets.
- Advanced skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, data manipulation, automation).
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark for distributed big data processing.
- Strong statistical knowledge: hypothesis testing, regression, A/B testing, probability theory.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and ability to work alongside data science teams.
- Strong data storytelling skills to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Understanding of payment flows, transaction lifecycle, and fintech KPIs.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
