Business Development Assistant

**Job Summary**
We are looking for a Business Development Assistant in Vietnam to support our overseas team in driving sales and managing business operations. This role involves both internal and external responsibilities—you will assist with sales processes, engage with new and existing clients, gather market intelligence, and ensure smooth operations through administrative and logístical support.
**Main Responsibilities**
Business Development & Sales:
- Schedule and conduct face-to-face or virtual meetings with potential and existing clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to generate repeat business.
- Support in negotiating contracts and closing deals under the guidance of the sales team.
- Assist in presenting product solutions and promotions to clients.
- Research and identify sales opportunities based on market trends and competitor activities.
Customer Support & Onsite Assistance:
- Visit clients onsite when needed to support sales activities and strengthen relationships.
- Provide after-sales support, including handling complaints and resolving product issues.
- Assist customers in understanding pricing, product features, and benefits.
- Ensure smooth order processing, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
Sales & Administrative Support:
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, contracts, and invoices.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales reports.
- Support the sales team in pricing strategies, sample coordination, and promotional activities.
- Track and update market pricing, competitor offerings, and sales performance.
Local Business & Market Support:
- Work with local banks and government offices to complete necessary paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with Vietnam’s business regulations and company policies.
- Collect and report on competitor insights, pricing trends, and market demand.
Other Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and prepare for client meetings, business events, and appointments.
- Manage necessary logistics, such as booking venues, preparing materials, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the finance team on payments, invoicing, and account follow-ups.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, customer support, or administrative roles.
- Prior experience working with international companies or foreign clients is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Sales & Negotiation: Ability to identify business opportunities, engage clients, and close deals.
- Communication & Relationship-Building: Strong interpersonal skills in both Vietnamese and English (spoken and written).
- Market Awareness: Understanding of Vietnam’s local business environment, regulations, and competitor landscape.
- Proactiveness & Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Quick thinking and resourceful in resolving business challenges.
4. Technical & Administrative Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Experience handling contracts, invoices, and business compliance in Vietnam.
- Knowledge of order processing, logistics coordination, and financial documentation is a plus.
5. Other Requirements:
- Based in Vietnam and legally eligible to provide services as an independent contractor.
- Note this is a Contract For Service role.
- Possess own laptop.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and business operations.
- Familiarity with Vietnamese banking procedures, business regulations, and tax compliance for contractors.
- Ability to coordinate across different time zones with the overseas team i.e. Singapore and Malaysia.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: 6,000,000₫ - 10,000,000₫ per month
