Our client, a multinational manufacturing company, is looking for a Purchasing Manager.
This position will report to Purchasing director from head quarter.
- Oversee the efficient procurement process for both direct and indirect expenditures at the Vietnam factory, adhering to group procurement policies and predefined category strategies.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for purchases, optimizing costs, service levels, and product quality.
- Implement a transparent supplier selection process, evaluate alternative sources, and establish programs for rationalizing the supply base.
- Conduct ongoing market research and identify alternative suppliers to drive cost savings through competition and consolidate the supplier base when necessary.
- Take initiative in supporting the development of new materials and refining existing blends.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies, leading the way in identifying and capitalizing on cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure suppliers' adherence to company regulations, including obtaining necessary certifications, approvals, and documentation required by the organization.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor or master's degree
- At least 5 years of experience as purchasing manager in manufacturing companies
- Strong experience in purchasing and good networks with suppliers providing plastic raw materials, resin, plastic film, masterbatch
- Familiar with sustainable materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong leadership skill
- Strong problem solving skill
- Good command of English.
