**Responsibilities**:

- Directly manage the Supply Chain Planning team to monitor team members’ work and ensure supplier shipments can meet the customers’ demand within cost and time constraints.
- Regularly visit suppliers with your team members to review production schedules and solve problems.
- Provide guidance to suppliers on best practices for material planning and sub-component planning to improve on-time delivery of their finished good production schedule.
- Collaborate with Sourcing leadership and Supply Chain leadership to adjust sourcing plans and supply plans to optimize the supplier’s capacity utilization.
- Mentor, develop, and motivate the team members to surpass desired objectives and KPIs.
- Meet with the Global Supply team weekly to ensure the supplier production plans align with the company’s high-level supply plan.
- Work cross-functionally to improve the company’s effectiveness in sourcing and supply chain execution.
- Function as a key contact for developing and managing the relationship with finished good suppliers in Vietnam.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (required)
- Master’s Degree in Business or related field (preferred)

**Experience**
- 8 years’ experience in supply chain planning with a combination of both firsthand as well as management roles in large organizations, at least 3+ years’ experience in leading a team of 5 or more individuals. (required)
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes. (required)
- In-depth knowledge of the furniture industry (preferred)
- Experience managing finished-good suppliers/contract manufacturers. (preferred)

**Skills and Abilities**
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, creative and energetic, able to quickly evaluate all facets of a problem, resolve issues, determine, and implement the best solutions to business problems.
- Proven ability to motivate, lead and mentor team members and foster a positive team-based working environment while being a hands-on manager that leads by example.
- Strong people skills, able to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management. Professionalism and ability to use diplomacy in working relationships to deal with conflict and to reach resolution.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills, highly effective communicator in **English and Chinese**. (required)
- Effective communicator in Vietnamese. (preferred)
- Show initiative to follow through and complete tasks outside of job description.
- Good PC Software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
